Our centre is closed from March 16 -April 5th, due to the current COVID-19 pandemic.
How to Register
1. Parents are invited to make an appointment for a tour of the centre, where they can observe the program, meet the staff and ask questions. 2. An Application for Enrollment Form should be filled out and submitted. This immediately places your child on the waiting list. There is no fee to register, or to go on the waiting list. 3. At any time, call or email Lorna or Jeff to check on your waiting list status. They will be happy to talk over the possibility of upcoming spaces with you. Parents should check-in by email at least once a year, to keep their application active. 4. When a space has been offered, a deposit of one month's fee is payable. This fee will hold your space – it will not be offered to another family. Your deposit will be used towards your last month's fee when one month's written notice is given for withdrawal. Deposits are otherwise non-refundable.
Withdrawal Policy: Friends Day Care reserves the right to ask any family to withdraw their child from the centre, for reasons such as, but not limited to: unresolved behaviour problems, habitual non-payment or late payment of fees; habitual lateness at pick-up time. One month’s notice will be given in these cases. Where an abusive act, either verbal or physical, is made against any staff member or client, by a parent, family member or their agent, the withdrawal shall be immediate and the decision of the Supervisor/Co-Supervisor shall be final. We will: • Document all meetings with parents and support services • Notify our Children’s Services Consultant • Notify the Board of Directors • Refer parents to other services
